Fire Prevention Bundle

  • Electric Heaters; Vacuum inside heaters, visual inspection and test.
  • Thermostats; Test functionality.
  • Dryer; Open dryer housing to vacuum lint buildup, not just from lint trap, for a deep cleaning and improve appliance longevity.
  • Smoke Detectors; Check expiration date of detector, replace backup batteries and/or the entire smoke detector if beyond manufactures expiration date if necessary as most carry a ten year lifespan. Test smoke sensor properly with simulated non-toxic smoke spray. (Test button only verifies power to sounder and not actual sensor)
  • Fridge; Vacuum front grill and back compressor area of buildup and increase appliance longevity
  • Range Hood; Degrease vent grill to prevent grease fires over stove.
